The Forteau Lions Club is please to present the 44th Annual Bakeapple Folk Festival, August 10th to 13th. Here is our preliminary schedule:

Thursday Aug. 10th: Dinner by Lamplight

6:00 - 8:00 PM, Forteau Community Centre, $25
Accompanied by folk musician Paul Pearcey
Bakeapple Glazed chicken, mashed potato & veg, dessert, coffee/tea

Friday Aug. 11th: Bonfire and Fireworks

9:00 PM, Forteau Wharf. With food, music from Paul Pearcey, Sabrina & Laquita.

Whalers Quest Harbour Cruises - Forteau Wharf *
Two cruises of 90 minutes, Departures at 4:00 PM & 9:30 PM
Includes tour of Forteau Bay, Overfall's Brook and Point Amour with music and open bar. View the fireworks from sea!

Saturday Aug. 12th: Family Day, Forteau Community Centre

7:00 - 10:00 AM: Traditional Breakfast (ACW and UCW)
1:30 - 4:30 PM: Family Day (kids games, booths, crafts, etc.)

Whalers Quest Harbour Cruises - Forteau Wharf *
Two cruises of 90 minutes, Departures at 3:00 PM & 7:00 PM
Includes tour of Forteau Bay, Overfall's Brook and Point Amour with music and open bar.

9:00 PM: Adult Outdoor Dance featuring Borderline. At the ballfield. $10.

Sunday Aug. 13th: Folk Festival Concert

2:00 - 5:00 PM: Folk Festival, featuring Borderline, Paul Pearcey and local entertainers. Forteau Community Centre. $10 admission.

5:00 - 7:00 PM: Fish Fry, Forteau Community Centre

* Whalers Quest Boat Tours: $60 for adults, free for children 10 & under.
